Tco- 2 Propylene Carbon Monoxide (CO) Removal Chemical Catalyst 1

 
The metallic copper is used as the main active component of the catalyst, and zinc oxide is used as the main carrier with small amount of additive.
The catalyst is mainly applicable for removing trace amount of carbon monoxide in propylene and other hydrocarbons as well as N ₂  and other gas to below 0.1 × 10 ^-6 (V/V).
The catalyst has activity at 80-220 ºC , the general working temperature is 150-220 ºC , and the long-term operation at above 280 ºC  will affect the activity and service life of the catalyst.

Working principle
It is expressed by chemical equation:
CO removal: CO+CuO=CO ₂ +Cu
Regeneration: Cu+1/2O ₂ =CuO
